I predicted "Epicenter" to break down at the Kentucky Derby.

Whether due to my prediction, or just timing in general the breakdown of "Epicenter" actually happened at the Breeder's Cup in November of the same year. I was off on which race and by 7 months. But they say close only counts in horse shoes, and if the horse was wearing shoes at the time of it's breakdown, I'd say being close on this has to count for something.

Again - I did not WANT this horse to break down. I did not want to be right about this, and did not want to see this or any horse suffer. I did not place a bet or wager and did not profit. Never have. Never will. Nor do I promote others to do so.

I just read the signs.
