It is so hard today to have lost my FB and Twitter after the Hurricane Harvey rescues where we saved thousands of lives. It would be so awesome to get back into the drivers seats of those accounts and unite us all again to help Kentucky.
Sadly, all I can do is post here.
Here is the information I do have, we need to start a map and use that map (don't use google they took us offline after 2,500 lives were saved by US and we still have 2,500 to go and were in position.) if you have to - you have to, but if there is another map service try them instead. Let's learn from our mistakes.
This is the intel I do have, that can help, please share. If you have map making skills please add these to the list.
Note: I have not vetted these sources, so please vet them properly. I do also know from past experience you CAN NOT trust the Red Cross they will use your situation to gain financially and provide little or nothing in return to your community after they get rich off your situation. If you choose to donate to them follow up on where your money goes you will be surprised at what you find.

Update 12/14/21 Where to Begin...
What if we all just focused on getting wood.
Chopped and seasoned wood that people can use to create teepees with in the national parks for now.
That was how the natives did it.
If everyone whose house was destroyed had a small shelter in the woods right now, in a central location we could get all their needs met, and coordinate technology to do better.
We have to start somewhere. Got Wood? XOXO
Kentucky is FULL of wood too btw, so this should be something we can source locally, and find drivers to bring it to a designated drop off area along with tinder and lighters and fire extinguishers-fire fighters with trucks also nearby.
Staying warm is important. Once we get this down we can house all the volunteers the same way. XOXO
Simple instructions on how to build a teepee with a fire pit here.
True security lies not in the things one has but the things one can live without.
United as one, even if we all lived in heated teepees is better then the hate and division we have now, with everyone struggling to hold on to what they "have", most of it they still owe on.
Let go of our love for material things and learn to love each other.
That being the case, if we lighten the load and mobilize and unite - we can do great things. XOXO
