I remember back in the Good Old Days, before masks and MAGA hats where everyone just had a good time together without making a political statement.
The mask mandate has already crashed and burned in Minneapolis this past winter, and it never quite caught on in the surrounding suburbs...and rural areas. So I was suprised today to see a restaurant STILL suggesting it's patrons wear masks.
I have already learned that NOT wearing a mask - in a "masks strongly suggested" establishment, can trigger the cultish vaccine pushers and mask police already there and at best it is awkward, so I am no longer patronizing those establishments. Read the room.
Having a sign - at this point in the #CoronaHoax or #Planneddemic -requiring masks, or suggesting masks are worn- is a red flag for me. Just as walking into a bar with a sign on the door that says MAGA hats required would also be a red flag. If I have to join your cult to enjoy a meal at your establishment, I would rather eat at home. If I have to prove I am vaccinated to enjoy a dinner theater and give up my right to Hipaa privacy, I can stay home and watch over thousands of free shows online in the comfort of my own home and probably even prepare a better dinner as well. I can create a romantic ambiance and light a fire, open a bottle of wine, light a couple candles, put pink martini or Louis Armstrong on the pandora channel, without infringing on my right to breath the air.
People come to dinner theaters and nice restaurants to realize as Cheers would say "Our troubles are all the same..." - not to divide us - with intent to create a civil war. Nobody is enjoying themselves when their breathing is hindered, and there isn't a play out there I would get vaccinated to attend, as the Chanhassen Dinner Theater has so rudely imposed on it's patrons, hospitality has missed it's mark. If you are not working hard to make all of your guests happy, with great service, and food, as so many restaurants have blamed on a shortage of help- real or imagined - people remember that. They won't come back. People WILL remember the places that gave them great service though, and friendly faces, during these troubling times, and those who had a loyal staff who kept the tradition of great service going, and there are some restaurants that have done that very well. That is what keeps people coming back.
If you are requiring masks, just remember this - would you want to go somewhere that is requiring you wear a MAGA Hat? Would you wear one? Or make your family and friends have to change dinner plans, and cancel your immediate ones? How uncomfortable would that make you? Would you ever come back? I feel equally as strong about being required at this point to wear a mask. I'm not wearing a mask or a MAGA Hat, although it would be fun to watch someone who wore both, and to see the reactions they'd get. Would they be well received by both sides of the spectrum, is this something all the "people pleasers" should be doing? Or would they be rejected by both sides as not loyal enough? Either way, it proves my point - if a MAGA HAT and a mask entirely contradict each other - the mandates are NOT for your health - they are to further a political agenda, and give the illusion there are more democrat voters, and more mask mandate/vaccine pushers than there really are. If it wasn't a political statement it wouldn't be "mandated" by politicians.
This lady seems easily influenced by the T.V., just not sure if she watches Fox News or CNN.
Without the Maga hat on Trump would fit right in w/ the mask wearers and vaccine pushers. He gives me the impression of a CNN viewer, while claiming to be otherwise. A wolf in sheep's clothing?
Imagine a bar full of MAGA hats- at this point Maga hats AND masks feel like the wardrobe of political extremists, on either side. The media has fully programmed it's viewers.
