The kitten bowl is and always has been adorable, but with shelters so full you have to get on a 3 month wait list to drop off your pet at kill shelters - locally in Minnesota (Golden Valley) - and with evictions at all time highs after the aftermath of the Corona lockdown and force job closures through no fault of the person now being evicted. Imagine being forced out of work and losing your home too? We might all be in this together but some of the people out there are getting there asses kicked hard, while people like Baffert and Asmussen reaped the rewards cleaning up a half million dollars and a million dollars (respectively) in PPP Loans. As if they need it.
Back to the animals, with the ASPCA hoarding the hundreds of millions it has to save them, and not showing any mercy and spending it for what it was raised for, instead acting of more of a 501C3 tax shelter than a "charity" with any form of mercy for all the dogs cats and horses that will be killed by the thousands this year.
Back to the good news - instead of celebrating kittens this year, the Super Bowl will be high lighting rescued dogs and cats that are available for adoption from NO KILL SHELTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGING!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A HUGE WIN FOR ALL ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #OneLove XOXO
While I will miss seeing the kitten bowl, this was a class act! #EpicWin XOXO
